We here at The Spokespeople Project aim to bring visibility to a broad spectrum of non-profits and community assistance programs that are working to help address real issues within our communities. We consider it to be a great honor to work alongside programs such as the ones listed, and we are dedicated to finding more to reach out to, with hopes that we can all together make good changes in Greenville SC and the surrounding upstate area.
If you are a program director that would like to reach out to The Spokespeople Project, for inviting us to collaborate for an upcoming event, or to schedule an interview for positive exposure for your program, or to inform our team of volunteers about upcoming community events that need extra hands, please contact us via email at: SpokespeopleGreenvilleSC@gmail.com.
...and additional thanks to:
A BIG THANK YOU to founder Janet Cevelin, her son Hayden Cevelin, and also Matthew Shaw. They came together in 2021 with this vision, and continually worked in contribution towards founding this mission and materializing it all. Through their own finances and sweat equity, they made it possible to obtain the first Spokespeople Warehouse, and through their hearts and voices, they formed the dynamics of conscious community conversation within a fun and safe environment for young adults to grow, and even still yet as the program continues to grow and evolve.
A BIG THANK YOU to Maggie Fletcher, of The City Lights Collaborative Gallery and Venue, for providing a wonderful location for us to host our first TalkShow episode.
A BIG THANK YOU to our TalkShow Guest speakers Bill Gibson, Mary Allen, Susan Crooks, and our guest host, Matthew Shackett, and our sound guy / DJ Warren Tanner from TannerJam Productions, for enthusiastically taking on the daunting task of participating in our first TalkShow episode recorded in front of a live audience with little to no preparation time. You all are exemplary in your desire and efforts to bring great changes to our communities.
A BIG THANK YOU to Susan Crooks, of Walt's Waltz, for offering wonderful advice, educational opportunities, and for designating The Spokespeople Project and its satellite offices as a STIGMA FREE ZONE.
A BIG THANK YOU to James Gambrell, for so many instances of technical assistance, and for being a friend to the mission, offering advice and constructive guidance as we develop, and also of course for designing this beautiful website.
A BIG THANK YOU to Rico Fletcher for contributions of beautiful urban photography for use on our website and promotional materials, and also for providing our satellite offices with planned parenthood health and safety supplies
A BIG THANK YOU to ReCraft Greenville for the donation of a wide format printer and label printer, along with a healthy supply of paper, to The Spokespeople Project!
A BIG THANK YOU to Metro Toastmasters Club Chapter 3644, and their president Robert N. Hess, for advice and guidance on how to inspire effective speaking in young adults, and for opening an invitation for us all to join in their educational programs that inspire leadership.
A BIG THANK YOU to Angela Hurks, of Step-By-Step, who is offering her location as an additional Spokespeople Project satellite location, and also so that we can practice hands-on community assistance to the people of West Greenville via foodbank volunteering on second and fourth Saturdays.
ALL These people are IMMENSELY full of care for the people in their communities, and they put themselves all the way into their work. We hold so much gratitude for your efforts, and we are proud to say that we have worked in integration with your programs.
